Advent

Advent calendar to color

A coloring book turns into an advent calendar with little effort: 24 pictures, one per day from December 1 to 24. You get the pictures as a printable PDF on Etsy or as a paperback on Amazon.

How the coloring book becomes an advent calendar

“Christmas with Animals” has 50 festive coloring pages. Pick 24 of them, number them from 1 to 24 and put one picture out each day.

With the PDF you print the 24 pages and put them in envelopes or small bags. With the paperback you stick a note with the number on each page.

The remaining pictures are enough for the Christmas days themselves, for siblings or for grandma.

For older kids: puzzles instead of pictures

“Christmas Word Search” has 80 puzzles in three levels, for kids ages six and up. With 24 of them the calendar becomes a puzzle calendar, and the solutions are at the back of the book.

You can mix pictures and puzzles: a puzzle on even days, a coloring page on odd days.

In time for December 1

You get the PDF right after the purchase, with no shipping. You print the pages in A4 or US Letter as often as you like, for private use and school.

The seasonal bundle has five coloring books with 250 pages, including Christmas and St. Nicholas. It costs €12.99. You can find more ideas on the page Christmas coloring pages.
